Mojito

Description

According to legend, the Mojito was invented in the 17^th century in the Caribbean, on the small island “Isla de la Juventud” (Isle of Youth), which the famous pirate Francis Drake used as a base. Here, he would drink crushed mint leaves mixed with local eau-de-vie and lime.
Three centuries later, this mixture was mellowed down, and sugar and water were added to create this innovative version of the famous Mojito cocktail.

To be served chilled with crushed ice. Enhance it with a few mint leaves and a slice of lime.
