Our poire prisonnière (imprisoned pear) is made from Williams pears and each carafe contains a whole pear. Over time the eau-de-vie takes on the colour of the pear and is enhanced with golden hints.
It should be served as an after-dinner shot or poured into a still-warm coffee cup.
